Two Faces of the Medical Profession

Doctor

Within my life I've come to realize that there are two faces to the medical profession. Unfortunately, the first is accepted by society and government and also the other just isn't.

In my experience, when one becomes ill, they rush off to see the doctor. This doctor, obviously, has got such a doctorate, went to medical school and possesses served an internship. In Ontario, they're governed by the Ontario Medical Association causing all of this side of the profession of medicine, needless to say, is backed by pharmaseutical companies who have an herbal viagra for nearly everything.

I remember quite a few years ago, developing a problem where I could not lay on a flatbed nor could I lay on a lawn to fix something in my car. I couldn't even bend over forward with my chest using a car seat to seize something from the rear of my vehicle. The thing is, each and every time I attempted to accomplish any of those things, I experienced unbearable pain in my chest. Well, one day it got bad enough i decided to go see the doctor generating an appointment. After waiting awhile for the appointment date to come, I went to the physician's office to hold back some more in his waiting room. Finally my turn came and my name was called to go into an examining room where I waited even more. Finally a doctor got into the room and we exchanged the typical pleasantries, he took my blood pressure levels, asked me a few pre-determined questions and handed us a slip to visit a medical facility lab and obtain blood tests done. That took all of 5 minutes in the examining room. We then made another appointment to learn the final results of the blood tests and during that appointment, nothing was found, but the doctor wanted me to take some pills for hypertension so wrote us a prescription. He also wanted me to obtain an ultrasound succeeded in doing so he gave me an investment for your. On my third visit to a doctor, the ultrasound demonstrated that my liver was enlarged but absolutely nothing to stress about.

Meanwhile, a colleague of mine mentioned that she visited a naturopathic doctor who she'd plenty of faith in understanding that had pinpointed a challenge she had once the regular medical profession had not been capable of accurately diagnose her problem for many years. She suggested I may wish to go and find out him. Before I could have a look at him, though, I needed to fill out with regards to a six page questionnaire that queried me about my history, my family and other things. Once I completed the proper execution and submitted it, I went into check out this naturopath and waited in his waiting room for maybe maybe five or ten minutes. That's a switch, I figured. Once inside his office (his office is his examining room), he tested me with a funny looking machine and all I had to do was hold something in a single hand while he touched fingers on my opposite using a probe. Weird sounds emanated from the machine which gave him clues in regards to the condition of my system. After the testing was done, he took about forty-five minutes to explain in my experience in great detail that my liver was infected and due to this, it was affecting other systems in my body. The thing is, naturopathic medicine treats the reason for a challenge as opposed to the symptom which is apparently the clear way of traditional medicinal practises. My naturopath provided some natural treatments, told me it ought to be solved a few weeks which if there have been any problems or maybe the disease had not significantly improved soon after days, to provide him a trip. The ailment was completely cured in just a few a few weeks and that i have not looked back since. The natural treatments didn't have any side affects where pharmaseuticals could have caused some problem meaning the drug could have been toxic to my system.

The standard medical community is accepted by everyone because were trained to believe that it has all the answers and is the best way to go. Besides, pharmaseutical companies have a lot of money dedicated to people being sick and doctors writing prescriptions to buy their symptom masking drugs. The regular profession of medicine, since it is identified by the government, can access hospital facilities, is underwritten by provincial medical insurance and also has access to specialists.

Naturopathy, alternatively, isn't widely accepted, perhaps because pharmaseutical companies don't want so that it is, it has no use of hospitals, or specialists and isn't underwitten by government medical plans.

I've found it unfortunate that governments is not going to embrace this alternative medicine while there is such a shortage of medical professionals in Ontario, specially in the northern area of the province. Just take into consideration what efficient our medical community might be if all worked together for the benefit of the folks. I suggest naturopathic medicine as it has done so much for me naturally and non intrusively.

The next occasion you are feeling unwell, maybe you might consider consulting a naturopath for an alternative solution before you enable the regular medical community to have their way together with you.
